Frequently Asked Questions
What is your refund policy?
A $200 registration fee is non-refundable for any reason and is applied to the tuition. Any amount paid beyond $200 can be refunded.
When is the balance due?
Any remaining balance is due two weeks prior to your first day of camp. Please keep in mind that any balance mailed to our PO Box in Raleigh after the start of the first session of camp may take additional time to process, as the camp staff is in Asheville.
When is check-in and check-out?
Registration/Check-in starts the Sunday of each week from 2:30-4:30 pm at the student center on the Christ School campus. If you cannot schedule your arrival at this time, please advise the camp staff of your expected arrival time.
Camp will terminate at 10:30 am on Friday of each week. Your child is expected to clean his/her room and put all trash in hallway (garbage bags will be provided). If there are any damages to the room that occur during your child’s stay at camp, you will be charged accordingly.
how are roommates assigned?
You will be assigned a dorm room/living area and roommate at check-in. All teams will be placed in the same dorm and will be assigned roommates with their fellow teammates of the same gender.
How many people are roomed together?
In general we place 2-3 campers per room. There are a few larger rooms that can house up to 8 campers. These rooms are generally reserved only for large teams.
Yes. If you are NOT attending with a team and have a roommate preference please email the camp so we can accommodate your request.
Can I request a roommate?
No. We strongly reccommend bringing a fan with you to camp
Are the dorms air conditioned?
We recommend that gear and personal items clearly have your name labeled on them. Please report lost or stolen items to a staff member. If you leave any items after departing camp, please contact the camp and we will attempt to locate them for you. The camp can mail any items back to you at the camper’s expense. Lost or stolen items will not replaced by the camp.
What if I lose an item or think it may have been stolen?
Yes, campers are allowed to drive their car to camp but will not be able to use their car during camp. Keys must be turned over upon arrival to the camp staff and will be returned to before check-out at the conclusion of camp.
Can my child drive their personal vehicle to camp?
Yes. Cell phone reception on the Christ School campus and at running sites can be spotty, however.
